There is an old saying:
‘If you fail to plan, you’re planning to fail.’
Benjamin Franklin coined it, and it’s entirely true.
Nobody has ever achieved anything in this world without a plan and a set of rules to follow.
Nobody.
Think of a plan like a map to follow.
If you want to reach a certain destination with your car, you’ll use Google Maps, type in your final destination, and the layout and plan to get there will show up.
There wouldn’t be just one roadmap but many more: some taking more time, some less, some more enjoyable to drive, some less.
The same goes for everything in life, including fitness.
There are numerous paths to your final destination, but all you need is one path to stick to.
Only ONE.
And, if we look at it from the other side, with only a final destination in mind, you’d sit and try to drive there, but you’d likely get lost within minutes.
So, you absolutely MUST have a plan that you can stick to and follow through.
If you don’t, you’ll get lost. And being lost is the worst position to be in.
So,
You have a fat loss goal in mind, your final destination, that’s alright. But do you have a plan to get there?
A roadmap? A pathway?
No?
It’s time to put in some work.
Remember, a plan is EVERYTHING.
